The word Agape (/ɑːˈɡɑːpeɪ, ˈɑːɡəˌpeɪ, ˈæɡə-/; from Ancient Greek ἀγάπη (agápē)) is derived from Greek and traditionally denotes a  selfless, unconditional love. Our agency name comes from our dedication to providing children with the selfless, unconditional love that comes from having a forever family of their own.

We are a licensed, fully Hague accredited child placing agency based in Washington state.  Being accredited means that a third party (such as IAAME) has determined through a rigorous assessment of evidence that the organization meets standards of best practices and quality services. Accreditation protects adoptees, adoptive families and adoption agencies. 

Agape currently has programs in Bulgaria, Dominican Republic, Ghana, Honduras, Hong Kong, India, Romania, Sri Lanka and Uganda. We work with adoptive families from all states, and offer homestudy and post placement services to families in Alaska, Washington and Oregon.
